As a child I was more interested in football than anything I could learn from books. Thinking back now, lawyers back then looked like the heroes of the truth, and to be a hero of any kind
is a luring thought at any age! In the Piarist High School, Vác, it became clear I would not be a
mathematician. I had to choose a way to go in 1997 and the world of law was an enticing
option with its courts, lawyers’ meetings and offices.
For a while I studies and studied and studied. While finishing in the College of Public
Administration I already studied law at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University of Law. For the
theme of my thesis I chose Compensation Law and the judicial practice of non-pecuniary
damage and I knew I was on the right way.
I was fortunate enough to learn from top class lawyers, they taught me that to be a good
lawyer requires not only a strong professional understanding of the law but also a humble
and empathetic outlook every single day. I learnt the basics of law at the Institute of Law of
Eötvös Lóránd University of Sciences, while my personality gives the spark to my work and I
am touched by many of my cases. I count it a success, when settling a claim that I am able to
use my legal knowledge and practical approach to find a solution that helps people!
Since I have become a lawyer myself, I can see I have chosen a profession where one has to
keep studying day after day. My most important recognition to date is becoming a partner in
the successful law firm where I spent my trainee years.
It gives me a boost to be busy day in and out, it is best when I can start the day at the court
to fight for someone’s rights. During the day all actual cases keep me occupied, while I like
finishing the day with the thought that the next day has new cases to solve.
